A binding franchise relationship is created only when both parties execute a formal, signed Franchise Agreement.

2. No Guarantee of Profit, Turnover, or Returns

Any figures relating to franchise fees, security deposit, estimated interior/investment cost, illustrative examples, or store economics shown on this Website are indicative estimates based on general assumptions, not projections or guarantees. Actual results depend on factors outside our control — including location, local competition, footfall, operating discipline, and market conditions. Krisomika Retail Private Limited does not guarantee any specific level of sales, profit, or return on investment for any franchise store.

3. Figures Are Subject to Change

Franchise fees, security deposit amounts, royalty structure, support inclusions, and other commercial terms are reviewed from time to time and may change without prior notice to the Website. The figures applicable to you are those confirmed in writing by our franchise team and recorded in your signed Franchise Agreement, which will prevail over any figure shown elsewhere on this Website.

4. Independent Due Diligence Recommended

Before committing to a franchise, we recommend that you:

• Visit an existing Grocery Select store, where possible, and speak with our franchise team about realistic expectations for your intended location;
• Have the draft Franchise Agreement reviewed by an independent lawyer;
• Have your projected investment and financing plan reviewed by an independent financial/business advisor;
• Satisfy yourself on local demand, competition, and site suitability for your chosen location.

5. Licenses, Registrations & Compliance

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in the Franchise Agreement, it is the franchisee's own responsibility to obtain and maintain all licenses, permits, and registrations required to operate the store — including but not limited to FSSAI food licensing, GST registration, local shop & establishment registration, trade license, fire and safety clearances, and any labour-law compliances applicable to store staff.

6. Store Operating Costs Are Borne by the Franchisee

Unless the signed Franchise Agreement states otherwise, day-to-day store operating expenses — including staff salaries, electricity, rent, petty/miscellaneous expenses, and product restocking — are the franchisee's own responsibility and are not covered by the Company's support commitments.

7. Territory & Exclusivity

Any territorial exclusivity offered to a franchisee applies only as specifically recorded in that franchisee's signed Franchise Agreement, and is not a general commitment made to every visitor of this Website.

8. No Employer-Employee or Agency Relationship

A Grocery Select franchise is operated on a Franchisee-Owned, Franchisee-Operated (FOFO) basis. Nothing on this Website or in any franchise discussion creates an employer-employee, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Company and a franchisee or their staff.

9. Right to Decline an Application

Submitting a franchise enquiry does not guarantee approval. The Company reserves the right to evaluate, accept, or decline any franchise application at its sole discretion, based on factors such as location suitability, applicant background, and financial capability.

10. Refunds

Refund and cancellation terms relating to franchise fees and the security deposit are set out separately in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and in the signed Franchise Agreement.
